Kate Middleton has been left utterly disappointed by her brother-in-law Prince Harry

Kate Middleton has reportedly been left disappointed after Prince Harry opted not to return to London following his recent legal victory against News Group Newspapers. While many within royal circles were relieved that the Duke of Sussex swiftly returned to the U.S. after settling his lawsuit, Kate had been looking forward to seeing him, according to a well-placed insider who spoke with Heat World.

“Kate was looking forward to seeing Harry in London,” the source revealed, suggesting that the Princess of Wales had hoped for a chance to reconnect with her brother-in-law despite the ongoing tensions within the royal family. According to the insider, Kate saw this as an opportunity to “get a read on Harry’s state of mind these days,” particularly as reports continue to swirl about his strained relationships with the monarchy.

However, those hopes have now been dashed as Harry no longer has a reason to return to the UK in the near future. “That seems to be off the table now because he doesn’t need to come back to settle his case,” the source explained. For Kate, this means that any planned discussions or attempts at reconciliation will be postponed indefinitely.

“It means the sit-down they were going to have is postponed indefinitely,” the insider added before signing off. This revelation adds another layer to the already complex relationship between Harry and the royal family. Since stepping down as a senior royal in 2020 and relocating to California with Meghan Markle, Harry’s visits to the UK have been infrequent and often brief.

His interactions with family members, particularly Prince William and Kate, have been minimal, with little indication of mending the fractured bonds. While King Charles’ recent cancer diagnosis has reignited speculation about a possible family reunion, Harry’s decision to return to the U.S. without visiting Kate or other senior royals suggests that tensions remain unresolved.

For now, it appears that whatever hopes Kate had of reconnecting with her brother-in-law will have to wait—possibly for a long time.
