Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly did not seek to introduce their children to Lilibet, the daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

“William and Kate made no effort at all to introduce Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to [Lilibet]” during Queen Elizabeth II‘s Platinum Jubilee, royal expert Christopher Andersen told Us Weekly.

After Harry and Markle left the royal family, moved to California, and exposed family conflict to Oprah Winfrey, he added that there is still “a lot of tension” between the brothers.

“As far as I know, nobody believes they spoke [to each other],” Andersen claimed, which Page Six had previously reported.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex extended an olive branch by inviting William, Middleton, and their children to Lilibet’s first birthday party earlier this week, but the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were due to attend the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in Wales.

Last week, though, Harry and Markle’s daughter had her first meeting with her grandmother and great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. When they arrived in London, the couple took their 1-year-old daughter to visit the 96-year-old queen, and then again at Windsor Castle ahead of Lilibet’s birthday celebrations, as per news.au reported.

Last week’s trip to the UK by Harry and Markle was the first time their 3-year-old son, Archie, visited his country since the family moved to the United States in 2020.

The royal family arrived in London on Wednesday and attended many Platinum Jubilee events, though they did not stand on the balcony with the other royals during the Trooping the Colour parade on Thursday.

While leaving the National Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London on Friday, the couple was met with jeers and boos. They sat far away from William and Middleton during the church service.

The royal family flew back to California in a private plane early Sunday ahead of the Queen’s four-day festivities, which ended in the Platinum Jubilee Pageant.
