A royal insider has spilled the tea on how King Charles likely took Donald Trump’s latest jab at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Trump recently made waves when he addressed the ongoing controversy over Harry’s US visa, which came under scrutiny after he admitted to past drug use in his memoir Spare.

Despite speculation that Harry’s immigration status could be in question, Trump made it clear he wouldn’t kick him out of the country. But, in true Trump fashion, he couldn’t resist throwing some shade at Meghan.

“I wouldn’t deport him,” Trump said. “He’s got enough problems with Meghan. She’s terrible.” This isn’t the first time Trump has taken aim at the Sussexes. Meghan once called him misogynistic, and he’s made no secret of the fact that he’s “no fan” of hers. His latest comment only adds more fuel to the long-running feud between them.

While King Charles has stayed quiet on the drama surrounding Harry and Meghan, a royal insider suggests he may actually be relieved that Trump isn’t pushing to have Harry removed from the US.

“The fact is that Harry and Meghan are a source of strain and worry for His Majesty,” the insider told the Daily Mail. “While he is sorry that he does not have a relationship with his grandchildren in America, it is easier for his peace of mind that there’s an ocean between him and Harry.”

This all comes as the legal battle over Harry’s visa application heats up in the US. Last week, Judge Carl Nichols signaled that he might release parts of the sealed documents related to Harry’s immigration status. The records are currently off-limits, but during a recent hearing in Washington DC, the judge stated he wanted “maximum disclosure as long as it doesn’t violate privacy.”

The controversy started when the Heritage Foundation raised questions about why Harry was allowed into the US in 2020 after openly admitting to drug use in his book. They argued that he may have received special treatment or not been entirely truthful on his immigration forms. The US Department of Homeland Security has so far refused to release his visa records, despite the fact that US visa applications require applicants to disclose past or current drug use.

With Trump stirring the pot and the legal fight over Harry’s visa still unfolding, this saga is far from over. But for King Charles, keeping some distance from the drama might be the least stressful option.
