Carole Middleton ‘Deeply Worried’ Over Kate Middleton’s Medical Emergency – Calls It ‘Not Normal
Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, has been easing into her royal duties while prioritizing her well-being and family. The 41-year-old royal is taking a slow and careful approach to returning to normal life, with a focus on rebuilding her strength and maintaining her health.
The Princess has faced her own health challenges, notably a serious medical emergency in the past that left a scar on her head. During her time at university, Kate discovered a mysterious lump on her head, which required immediate surgery.
“It was a serious injury,” Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton, reportedly said, sharing her concerns. The incident occurred shortly after a fellow student, Hugo McDermott, tragically passed away from a brain tumor, further adding to Carole’s worry.
Kate has since completed chemotherapy treatment and is gradually reentering public life. However, as her recovery continues, she is expected to limit her public appearances in the coming year. Kensington Palace confirmed that Kate’s schedule for 2024 and 2025 will be based on medical advice, with her well-being remaining a priority.
A family friend of the Princess told People Magazine, “She’s not back to normal,” but reassured that “there is light at the end of the tunnel.” This slow recovery process comes as Kate is taking her time to regain her full strength, particularly as she balances her responsibilities as a mother and wife.
Despite these challenges, Kate has continued to fulfill some royal duties. She hosted her fourth annual Christmas carol service on December 6 and, just days earlier, joined Prince William to welcome the Amir of Qatar during his state visit to the UK.
Meanwhile, the royal family faces further concerns as King Charles III is undergoing treatment for an undisclosed cancer. As the family navigates these difficult times, plans for Kate and William’s future roles continue to take shape.
On December 7, Prince William represented his father at the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and met with U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, who shared that he had asked about Kate’s recovery. “I asked him about his wife, and he said she’s doing well,” Trump commented, adding, “And I asked him about his father, and his father is fighting very hard.”
