Prince Harry, Meghan Markle has a ‘disastrous’ relationship with the media, a royal biographer claims: They “do not know how to calm down”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex both share a combative stance when it comes to the British media. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been cautioned that if they continue to engage with tabloids legally, they will only suffer.
When it comes to unfavorable news, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, according to a royal biography, “do not know how to calm down.” They’ve had a number of legal battles with British media on privacy violations and other issues.
Tina Brown, on the other hand, believes that their efforts would be in vain. “Doing battle with the British media is a lost cause,” she told The Telegraph. Meghan Markle, she added, is “as combative about it” as Prince Harry, which is unfortunate.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are “addicted to drama,” according to the author of “The Palace Papers: Inside the House of Windsor—The Truth and Turmoil.” She stated that Princess Diana’s treatment of the media in the 1990s influenced the 37-year-old royal’s treatment of the press.
Princes Harry and William, on the other hand, have accused the British media of ruining their mother’s life. Following an examination into her infamous Panorama interview with Martin Bashir, they blamed the BBC for the Princess of Wales’ tragic death.
Similarly, in an interview with Oprah, the Duke of Sussex stated that press intrusion influenced his decision to step down from his royal duties. He was afraid of “history repeating itself,” so he chose to move his family from the United Kingdom to the United States of America, as per reported by IBTimes.
The wives, according to Brown, are there to advise the brothers on how to handle the attention. Kate Middleton and Prince William’s relationship with the press, she said, is positive. She claims the couple “calm each other down a lot” and that “their marriage works very well in that way” as a result.
On the contrary, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are both very defensive. Brown said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “wind each other up.” She claimed that in their marriage, it is “Us Against the World,” which she cautioned could only lead to “a disaster.”
