New Book Claims Camilla Bowles Made Racist Remark When Meghan Markle was Pregnant with Archie
According to “Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War between the Windsors,” Camilla jokingly said it would be “funny” if Harry’s unborn child with Meghan was born with a “ginger afro.”
Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s enthralling sit-down interview with Oprah, the identity of the royal relative who allegedly made racially offensive comments about baby Archie before he was born has remained a mystery.
A recent book claims that Camilla Parker Bowles, the wife of Prince Charles, was truly the culprit.
According to “Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War between the Windsors,” Camilla jokingly said it would be “funny” if Harry’s unborn child with Meghan was born with a “ginger afro.”
Daily Mail editor Charlie Lankston said, “The palace insiders, not officially on the record, but behind closed doors, have been very quick to try and speak out against that allegation, saying that it’s absolute nonsense, that comment was not made.”
But author Tom Bower was defiant on British TV.
Bower said, “I work very hard to make sure all I write is true and accurate. It’s obviously checked and double-checked and sifted by lawyers. We don’t take any risks unnecessarily, but the book is still quite explosive.”
As per Insideedition, the book also discusses the rumor that Kate Middleton cried because of Meghan Markle in the days before her 2018 wedding.
According to allegations that have been made public, Kate was irate that Meghan wanted the bridesmaids, including Princess Charlotte, to avoid wearing tights.
In an interview with Oprah, Markle stated that Kate Middleton was furious and caused her to cry because the “reverse happened.”
The burden, however, is now fully on Meghan, who is said to have “compared Princess Charlotte unfavorably to her best friend Jessica Mulroney’s daughter,” causing Kate to “burst into tears,” according to the new book.
Lankston said, “This book states that the two of them got off on the wrong foot from the get-go.”
