A tense moment unfolded at the White House on Tuesday, February 25, as Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was caught visibly unamused while President Donald Trump launched a new version of his signature MAGA hat—this time emblazoned with the slogan “Trump was right about everything.”
During an Oval Office address, Trump proudly showcased the newly designed cap, telling reporters, “Look, see that? ‘Trump was right about everything.’ It just came in. Somebody sent it, and I said this is a sentence by a fan.”

In a lighthearted exchange, he then tossed one of the caps to a journalist, quipping, “You want one? Are you allowed to take one because he’ll consider him sort of stiff? Brian, you are not as stiff.”
While Trump was reveling in the moment, RFK Jr., who stood silently in the background, appeared notably unenthusiastic. His serious demeanor did not go unnoticed, fueling speculation about possible tensions between the two political figures, per Irish Star.
Kennedy, who initially ran as an Independent candidate in the 2024 presidential race before endorsing Trump, was recently appointed as the Secretary of Health and Human Services. His endorsement was seen as a major boost for Trump, given Kennedy’s appeal to anti-establishment voters. However, his reaction—or lack thereof—during the hat launch event suggested he may not fully embrace Trump’s signature brand of showmanship.

The White House later shared the clip on social media, captioning it: “President Trump Hands Out ‘TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING’ Hats in the Oval Office.” The launch of the new cap marks an evolution in Trump’s campaign merchandise. While his iconic red Make America Great Again hats have remained popular, a new wave of Dark MAGA caps—primarily black, a design popularized by Elon Musk—has gained traction among his supporters.

As images from the Oval Office moment circulated online, social media users had mixed reactions—particularly to RFK Jr.’s expression. One user on X (formerly Twitter) commented: “RFK Jr should be highly embarrassed. He’ll be stuck with these images circulating for perpetuity. Shameful.”
Another quipped:
“His flesh can’t bear his soul.”
While Kennedy has yet to publicly address his reaction, the viral moment has fueled speculation about how well he fits within Trump’s administration—and whether he’s fully aligned with the MAGA movement he has now joined.
