Trump Praises His Looks at Indiana Rally: “I’m Better Looking Than Kamala”

During a rally in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Donald Trump took an unusual detour from discussing policy, instead showering himself with praise—particularly when it came to his appearance and signature hairstyle. Spotting a supporter in the crowd who resembled him, Trump couldn’t resist a moment of self-flattery. “What a nice-looking man. Who is that? Oh, it’s Trump.

What a wonderful-looking person,” he quipped, adding, “I’m just checking out the hairstyle as I’m talking. What can you do? There’s nothing I can do about it. You’re stuck with it.” As reported by Irish Star, Trump often turns criticism into humor, and this rally was no exception. He took the opportunity to reminisce about his 2016 appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where Fallon famously ruffled Trump’s hair.

Trump recalled, “I go on his show, and he asked to mess up my hair. He grabs it and starts really going crazy, and it was a big hit. Six months later, he went out and apologized because he was under pressure… he humanized Trump.” Fallon later addressed the backlash he faced for the segment, clarifying his intentions. “I did not do it to ‘normalize’ him or to say I believe in his political beliefs,” Fallon explained, adding, “You made me feel bad… what do you want me to do? You want me to kill myself? What would make you happy? Get over it”, as reported by ABC News.

This wasn’t the first time Trump has made headlines with comments about his looks. In the same rally, he took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris, first discussing her economic policies before pivoting to personal remarks. Trump criticized Harris’ promise to lower food and housing costs, mocking the fact that her “day one” as vice president was over three years ago. He vowed that, if elected, he would “rapidly drive prices down” and “make America affordable again.”

Then, in true Trump fashion, he made a comparison to Harris’ appearance. “They said, ‘No, her biggest advantage is that she’s a beautiful woman.’ I’m going, huh? I never thought of that. I’m better looking than she is,” Trump declared, before quickly warning, “Don’t ever call a woman beautiful, because that’ll be the end of your political career, please.” Trump’s comments at the rally added another chapter to his long history of blending humor, self-praise, and personal attacks, leaving his supporters entertained and critics once again shaking their heads.
