Trump Lashes Out at Kamala Harris After Her “The View” Interview
Former President Donald Trump reacted with fury on his Truth Social platform following Vice President Kamala Harris’s appearance on The View on Tuesday. During the interview, Harris criticized Trump’s false claims about the federal government’s emergency response to Hurricane Helene, particularly his baseless accusation that President Joe Biden withheld relief from Republican-leaning areas.
“It’s profound, and it is the height of irresponsibility and, frankly, callousness, so lives are literally at stake right now,” Harris asserted. Trump took to social media, honing in on her remarks. “Lyin’ Kamala, who is being exposed as a ‘dummy’ every time she does a show, just stated to the degenerates on The View that she would have done nothing different than Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES,” he wrote.
“The Lamestream Media doesn’t want to pick up the story, the dumb women on the show wish they never asked her the question that led to that Election Defying answer, but the Internet is going WILD.” He continued his tirade, listing grievances against the Biden administration: “For starters, THE BORDER DISASTER, WITH MURDERERS AND EVERYONE ELSE BEING ALLOWED TO INVADE OUR COUNTRY, WORST INFLATION IN HISTORY, THE UKRAINE DISASTER, OCTOBER 7TH WITH ISRAEL, LOSS OF ENERGY INDEPENDENCE, THE AFGHANISTAN DEBACLE, LOSS OF RESPECT ALL OVER THE GLOBE, AND MUCH MORE! Her dumbest answer so far!”
Harris’s media strategy has seen her actively engaging with various platforms recently, including popular podcasts like Call Her Daddy, as she works to counter Trump’s narratives and reach diverse audiences.
In contrast, Trump has declined to participate in traditional media appearances, such as the CBS 60 Minutes interview typically offered to presidential candidates. He has insisted that the network refrain from fact-checking him and issue an apology for his contentious 2020 interview with Lesley Stahl.
The contrasting approaches between Harris and Trump underscore their differing strategies as the 2024 election season heats up. While Harris expands her media presence, Trump’s refusal to engage with mainstream platforms highlights his reliance on his own social media channels and supportive outlets.
