Ultra-Exclusive and Powerful Bugatti Centodieci Hypercar
Back in 2019, Bugatti debuted its ultra-exclusive Centodieci hypercar at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. With a design inspired by the EB110, a name paying homage to the brand’s 110-year history, and an assembly that would be capped at just 10 cars, it promised to be a very special vehicle indeed. That is, whenever Bugatti would actually get around to building it.
Well, the Big Bug has finally delivered, because it’s just unveiled the first prototype of the Centodieci production car. And my is it a sight to behold. Unlike the brand’s recent special-edition models, it features styling that’s distinctly retro, like circular air inserts, a glass engine cover, and a fixed rear wing akin to its wedge-shaped 90s predecessor.
However, elsewhere you’ll find it to be very much 21st-century Bugatti, with the brand’s signature body lines, a full-width light bar, and some sophisticated thermal management technologies to keep things cool. Under the hood, it’s powered by an 8.0L quad-turbo W16 engine that’s expected to put out 1,600hp and rocket it to 60mph in just 2.4s.
Despite its nearly $10M sticker price, each one of the limited-run Centodiecis is already spoken for. And this price tag will place Bugatti Centodieci at the top of the list of the most expensive cars ever.
