Taylor Swift Shows Support for Travis Kelce’s Milestone: ‘It’s Everything to Me
Taylor Swift’s support for her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, continues to shine as the pop superstar subtly celebrated his recent achievement with the Kansas City Chiefs. Swift, 35, showed her backing by liking an Instagram post from the Chiefs marking Kelce, also 35, for surpassing a significant milestone in the team’s history.
Kelce made history during the Chiefs’ Christmas Day game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Wednesday, December 25. His third touchdown of the season helped him set the record for the most receiving touchdowns in Chiefs history, surpassing the legendary Tony Gonzalez.
In a postgame interview, Kelce shared his gratitude for the achievement, saying, “It’s everything to me. Tony’s been a mentor to me, he’s been there right there for me [with] any questions I’ve ever had. I feel like I’m still trying to fill that guy’s shoes, told Daily Express US.
He’s such an unbelievable competitor and I’ve got so much love for him. It’s an honor to be in conversations with him.” Although Swift wasn’t in attendance for the Christmas Day game at Acrisure Stadium in Pennsylvania, her gesture of liking the Chiefs’ post about Kelce spoke volumes about her support.
In past years, Swift has celebrated Christmas with Kelce and his family, even bringing her own parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, as well as her brother, Austin Swift, to Kansas City, where they attended Kelce’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium.
Despite the Chiefs’ loss on Christmas Day, Kelce shared fond memories of the holiday with Swift and her family. On his podcast New Heights, co-hosted with his brother Jason Kelce, the NFL star recalled how Austin, 32, lifted the holiday spirit by dressing as Santa Claus and handing out personalized gifts. “It was a full commit.
He killed it,” Kelce said. “He actually made me feel like a child because his gift to me was straight out of the bag.” While Swift may not have been at the game, her continued support of Kelce’s accomplishments, both on and off the field, is evident.
