Tatiana Maslany, known for her role as She-Hulk, recently addressed the swirling rumors about her involvement in the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine movie, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. During a lighthearted interview on Comedy Bang Bang: The Podcast, the 39-year-old actress playfully claimed that Ryan Reynolds himself had fired her from the project.

Maslany, responding to the speculation, humorously shared, “I had two scenes in it. And then Ryan Reynolds fired me from the show because he said, ‘I don’t like these scenes.'” She jokingly added that she is now “suing Disney” over her supposed removal from the highly anticipated film.

While keeping the tone playful, the She-Hulk: Attorney at Law star poked fun at her rumored exclusion, teasing that her scenes were cut because she was considered too “woke.” She quipped, “I always talk about how much I hate Wolverine and Deadpool. I talk about it all the time.”

Taking her sarcasm a step further, Maslany mocked the success of Deadpool & Wolverine in comparison to She-Hulk, saying, “I also wish I’d just sit down and stop pushing my feminist agenda and just realize that Deadpool & Wolverine made a lot of money and She-Hulk only made three dollars.”

Though her remarks were made in jest, Maslany’s humor reflects her quick wit and lighthearted approach to rumors. There is no confirmation that she was ever involved in the project, and her playful tone suggests the rumors may be more fiction than fact.

In the meantime, Maslany is preparing for her return to television in the upcoming Amazon horror-comedy The Nightbeast, which promises a unique premise and has fans eagerly anticipating her next on-screen role.

Her witty commentary about Deadpool & Wolverine and her rumored firing only serves to remind fans of her comedic timing and charismatic personality, even when addressing the industry’s wildest rumors.
