Roberts Blossom who played the role of old man Marley in movie “Home Alone” has died of some natural cause at age of 87 at a Santa Monica nursing home in Southern California.
Roberts Blossom had been working in both films and television and won three Obie Awards for his off-Broadway work. His role of a white-bearded neighbor in “Home Alone” will always be best-remembered. Some of his other films include Slaughterhouse-Five, Resurrection, Escape From Alcatraz, Doc Hollywood and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
