Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Bring Their Kids to Court in Rare Public Appearance

Rihanna is standing by A$AP Rocky’s side, showing unwavering support as he faces legal troubles. The superstar made a rare court appearance with their two sons, RZA and Riot, on February 13 at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in Los Angeles.

According to People, Rihanna made sure their little ones were part of the moment, encouraging them to show love for their dad. Before Rocky returned to the courtroom after a break, the Diamonds singer sweetly asked their sons to “wish Daddy good luck,” before he kissed her and the babies.

The couple, who have been together for years, welcomed their first son, RZA Athelston Mayers, in 2022, followed by their second, Riot Rose Mayers, in 2023. Despite their A-list status, they have mostly kept their family life private, making this public appearance with their boys especially rare.

Earlier in the day, Rihanna entered the courtroom as the prosecution delivered its opening statement, walking in with her toddlers, who reportedly remained calm and well-behaved. During the court recess, the family of four stepped out into the hallway, each parent tending to one of their children. As the break ended, Rocky handed the baby to Rihanna, and that’s when she encouraged their son to offer comforting words to his dad.

Shortly after, Rihanna exited through a back door, returning to the courtroom alone while RZA and Riot were taken elsewhere.

For those unfamiliar with the case, Rocky was facing charges related to a 2021 alleged shooting incident involving his former friend, A$AP Relli. However, the trial has now officially concluded.

Rihanna’s presence at the courthouse, especially with their children, sent a strong message of solidarity. Despite the circumstances, the family moments shared during the day showed just how close-knit they are.
