“Welp, I’ve Lost 8K Followers” Raquel Leviss Shrugs Off Social Media Dip After Festival Appearances

Raquel Leviss, known for her role on Vanderpump Rules, is taking a significant loss in social media followers in stride. The 29-year-old actress revealed that she has seen a decrease of 8,000 followers on Instagram following her recent posts from the 2024 Lightning in a Bottle Festival in Buena Vista Lake, California. Despite this setback, Leviss remains upbeat about her core support base.
“Welp, I’ve lost 8K followers since posting all my festival photos and videos… oh well,” she shared on Instagram last Friday, May 31, along with a cheerful photo of herself at the festival. “Thank you to the real ones that have been supporting me and want to see me thrive! ily Here’s a pic of me and that dandelion I love.”
Leviss has been active on the festival circuit, having also attended the Stagecoach Festival in Indio from April 26-28, 2024. It was during this event that fans noticed her outfit bore a resemblance to one worn by her former Vanderpump Rules co-star, Ariana Madix, in the show’s tenth season. This observation sparked online chatter and accusations of style plagiarism.
Addressing the controversy on her Rachel Goes Rogue podcast on May 1, Leviss clarified the situation. “Yeah, I did see that,” she acknowledged. “Apparently, we have the same shirt. I bought that shirt at Urban Outfitters. It just matched my jeans perfectly.” Leviss dismissed the claims of copying Madix’s style, explaining, “So, people are like, ‘Oh, she stole that shirt from Ariana,’ which is not the case. I purchased it, and I didn’t even remember seeing her wearing that on the show.
To clarify, it’s my shirt, not hers. Ariana has her own orange shirt that’s exactly the same.” The fallout from Leviss’s past actions continues to affect her relationships and public perception. She has been estranged from her Vanderpump Rules co-stars since her involvement with Tom Sandoval came to light in late 2022, an affair that resulted in Sandoval’s breakup with Ariana Madix in March 2023, as reported by Us Weekly. Despite these challenges and the recent dip in her social media following, Leviss appears committed to moving forward and embracing her passions, undeterred by the controversies surrounding her.
