Kanye West Eyes Whiskey Venture Amid Legal Battles

Kanye West is reportedly exploring a new business direction inspired by recent high-profile celebrity ventures. According to RadarOnline, the rapper is considering launching his own line of whiskey, a move that could mirror similar plans by Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce, who are rumored to be eyeing a liquor business of their own.

However, West’s business aspirations may face challenges. An insider revealed that the artist is currently dealing with a new lawsuit involving allegations of drink spiking and sexual assault, which could complicate his plans. “He’s furious after his finances dipped and he was ejected from the billionaires’ club,” the source said, referencing West’s recent financial struggles following several business controversies.

Despite the legal hurdles, West reportedly sees this potential whiskey brand as a pathway back to financial success. “Now he’s hanging his hat on raking in the cash once more with a new venture he hopes will become a global-selling liquor brand,” the source added.

This report comes on the heels of a Life & Style article suggesting that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are also considering the liquor industry, with plans to launch a joint business venture. “They’re looking at all kinds of opportunities where they could team up, and the liquor business is a really obvious choice,” an insider told the publication.

While it’s uncertain if West’s whiskey ambitions were inspired by Swift and Kelce’s rumored plans, the timing has raised eyebrows, particularly given the history between West and Swift. The two have been famously at odds since the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, making any parallel business moves noteworthy.

For now, West’s whiskey venture remains speculative, with his legal and financial challenges potentially influencing the outcome. Whether or not it materializes, West’s latest business endeavor underscores his continued drive to rebuild his empire despite setbacks, and it will be interesting to see if he can navigate his new plans alongside his ongoing controversies.
