Despite all the buzz about Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck possibly rekindling their romance, sources close to the actress are shutting it down. While the former couple has been spending more time together since Affleck’s split from Jennifer Lopez, insiders insist it’s nothing more than their usual co-parenting dynamic.

“Everything is fine with John and Jen,” one source reassured, referring to Garner’s longtime boyfriend, John Miller.

In fact, before the devastating Los Angeles wildfires last month, Miller was reportedly looking into buying a house near Garner’s, hinting that their relationship is moving forward, The Daily Mail reported. He’s also a constant presence in her life—he spends a lot of time at her home and even drives her to work in the mornings.

Still, some whispers suggest that Miller might feel uneasy about how close Garner and Affleck have become lately. The two have been spending holidays together and seem more connected than ever, which has allegedly left Miller feeling like a “third wheel.”

“It’s hard not to feel jealous when it’s clear they have a strong connection and friendship,” a source admitted. While Miller isn’t concerned about them reigniting an old romance, the growing closeness between the exes hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Garner, known for being level-headed and private, is reportedly playing a big role in helping Affleck navigate his post-divorce life. According to sources, she has “a huge amount of sway” over him and has even been encouraging him to treat Lopez with more respect and appreciation.

Despite any potential tension, Garner and Miller appear solid. The couple has kept their relationship mostly out of the spotlight, but their recent public embrace showed they’re still going strong. And last month, when Garner was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left hand, it immediately sparked engagement rumors.
