Comic based Film ‘Green Lantern’ is a struggle for saving earth against some threatening elements. There exist some super protectors of justice and peace called the Green Lantern Corps. They have formed a team of warriors by recruiting man of different races from all over the universe and then promised to maintain intergalactic order. Each Green Lantern is given a ring that brings super powers in him.
During movie a new enemy named Parallax emerges who threatens Green Lantern Corps to destroy the power balance in the universe. So to fight against his threat the Corps hire the first human ever named Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds). Hal Jordan is a blessed and dynamic test pilot for the family aviation company and moreover a human being. He is dedicated, has willpower and more than that he has humanity that none other member of Green Lantern Corps has.
Hal Jordan encounters a dying alien Abin Sur (Temuera Morrison) who bestows him a mystical green ring and declares him that the ring has chosen him. Ring provides him power. He speaks Oath and is then transported to the Green Lanterns’ home world of Oa. There he meets the great warrior Sinestro (Mark Strong), and gets training.
By the encouragement of his childhood pal and fellow pilot Carol Ferris (Blake Lively). Hal Jordan overcomes all his fears and works as the only key to defeat Parallax and also as the greatest Green Lantern of all.
With its green screen play, the film ‘Green Lantern’ provides fascinating moments to viewers who would definitely love to watch the movie.
