Diddy Transferred to Low-Security Jail with Access to Exclusive Unit Amid Serious Allegations
Sean “Diddy” Combs, currently detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, has been relocated to a specialized unit in the facility as he awaits his upcoming trial on May 5. This unit, 4 North, offers certain amenities and privileges for high-profile inmates but has also gained notoriety due to its unusual setup, allowing male inmates to glimpse and communicate with female inmates one floor below through small grates.
A former inmate, Gene Borrello, described the environment within the 4 North unit, explaining, “There are grates in one of the rooms of 4 North. They have little holes. If you lay down, you can look through the holes and talk to the women one floor down and see them.” Borrello added that some of the female inmates housed there previously worked as models or dancers and even claimed they had been involved in events reportedly hosted by Combs’s circle.
Another ex-inmate, known as G-Lock, commented on the behaviors seen through the grates, stating that female inmates sometimes engage in “immodest behavior.” He claimed, “They’ll show their t—s and play with their c—-ies,” adding to the colorful descriptions of the interactions that can occur between inmates in these units, told The Mirror.
Despite the unit’s unconventional setup, the area in which Combs is now housed is intended for high-profile inmates and provides more lenient accommodations. The facilities reportedly include access to games like air hockey, a gym, and tablets for movies and music, making it a more comfortable setting compared to other units in the facility.
The music mogul’s legal troubles have escalated recently, with Combs facing severe allegations of human trafficking and exploitation. This criminal case adds to a separate, high-profile civil lawsuit filed in late 2023 by his former girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura, who has accused him of rape and physical abuse. These compounded allegations have cast a long shadow over Combs’s public image and personal life.
As his May trial date approaches, Combs’s case continues to attract significant media attention, with many awaiting further developments. Meanwhile, his current detainment conditions at MDC Brooklyn underscore the complexities surrounding the handling of high-profile detainees and the sometimes unusual dynamics within the facility.
