Zach Bryan Slams Trolls with Explosive Rant After Bitter Split with Brianna LaPaglia
Zach Bryan, the country music star, has broken his silence regarding online trolls who have been attacking his friends, shutting down the harassment with a series of posts on his official Instagram account.
In a candid message to his followers, Bryan slammed the trolls who were “attacking and belittling my friends” under the assumption that he had a girlfriend. “Also all you f**** couch warriors attacking and belittling my friends on the internet because you’re assuming I have a girlfriend are weird as hell and should be studied for science,” he began, according to the E! Online.
He continued, expressing frustration over the situation: “Everyone wonders why I quit touring and don’t want to be attached to music anymore meanwhile you’re calling my friends ugly and harassing them?”
Bryan emphasized that his friends were simply “laughing and hanging out” as they always had and that the online attacks were both unnecessary and cruel. “I’m not asking for sympathy but going for my -friends- is so low and so messed up? Apparently I’ve [had] four different girlfriends in like two weeks meanwhile my friends and I are just laughing and hanging out like we always have.”
The musician also clarified that he is not currently in a relationship and does not “plan on” having a girlfriend anytime soon. Despite this, he expressed his deep affection for his friends. “I do have ‘normal friends’ who I love very much,” Bryan said.
He urged his followers to shift their focus to more important matters, adding, “Go give your attention and time to the literal city burning down and stop being so sad and fickle and childish through screens.” Bryan closed his message with a firm statement: “Last thing I’ll ever say on this. Insane I even have to. You do not know me. You never will know me. Stop acting like you do.”
Bryan ended his post by reiterating his point, saying, “I can take all the hatred because I’m not a child. But do not come for my friends.” Bryan’s strong words highlight his frustration with online negativity and his determination to protect those he cares about, especially from unwarranted and hurtful attacks.
