Things between Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker, and Scott Disick are probably about to get a bit more awkward.
On May 29, a Kardashian update account known as @kardashianvideo revealed that the Blink-182 drummer liked a very…telling…comment about an “awkward” double date with Kardashian, Disick, and Disick’s girlfriend, Amelia Gray Hamlin.
There are a few important details to know before we even get to the shady social media moment. The eldest Kardashian sister and Disick were in an on-and-off relationship for about ten years and share three children together. Kardashian, who is 42 years old, is currently in a very PDA-heavy relationship with Barker, who is 45 years old. Meanwhile, Disick, who is 38 years old, is dating a 19-year-old. The reality star also began dating his previous girlfriend, Sofia Richie, when she was 19. (Twitter has a lot of thoughts about this.)
“Happy birthday my love. you light up my life, and make my world better,” Hamlin wrote in an Instagram post dedicated to the reality star on May 26. “I can’t imagine what I would do without you. Thank you for being you. The most caring, loving, special person on this planet. I’m so lucky. I’m so blessed to have met you. I love you.” The comments section on the post was disabled.
Now that you’re all caught up, let’s get into it. On Friday, May 28, @kardashianvideo posted a report by the gossip account Deuxmoi that Kardashian, Barker, Disick, and Hamlin were reportedly spotted having dinner at Nobu in Malibu. Again, people had thoughts.
“It’s so odd to me like what does a 2001 baby have to do [with] these grown-ass people,” one user commented. “I know the dinner was awkward as hell.” If the alleged dinner did take place, this person is probably right because Travis Barker liked the comment!
Recently, a source told People that Disick has been “struggling” with Kardashian’s hot and heavy relationship with Barker. That doesn’t appear to be the case for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who is reportedly “unbothered” by Disick’s relationship with Hamlin.
“It’s not weird for her to see them together by any means,” the source told Entertainment Tonight after Kardashian attended Disick’s 38th birthday party earlier this May. In fact, the source claims that Disick wishes it would have been more difficult for his ex. “He wishes Kourtney was more affected by it, like he is about Kourtney and Travis,” they added.
