“I’ve Always Been Grateful for the Opportunities”: Tish Cyrus shares Trace’s unfiltered thoughts on sister Miley’s fame
Tish Cyrus opened up about the sibling dynamics between her children, particularly how her son Trace has embraced his sister Miley Cyrus’s global stardom. During a recent episode of Sibling Revelry with Kate and Oliver Hudson, the 57-year-old producer shared insight into how her family navigates life in the shadow of Miley’s fame.
Recalling a recent conversation with Trace, Tish revealed, “He really just told me the other day, ‘I’ve always, like, I’ve never been jealous of Miley. I’ve always been grateful for the opportunities I get because of her.'” Tish expressed her pride in Trace’s perspective, adding, “I think that my kids have mostly seen it that way. I’m sure it’s hard to be… the Mileys of the world don’t come around very often.”
She also acknowledged the unique nature of Miley’s rise to fame, attributing much of it to her breakthrough role on Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana. Comparing Miley’s career path to others in the family, Tish called the opportunity “like winning the lottery.”
“Not everybody gets to go in that way,” Tish confessed. “It’s harder because you have to work harder and do things differently. It’s just a completely different career path and a way into your career than the way Miley had with Hannah Montana.“
Miley Cyrus’s stardom has undoubtedly shaped the lives of the Cyrus family, but Tish’s comments shed light on the gratitude and acceptance that underpins their sibling relationships. For Trace, a musician and former member of Metro Station, his sister’s fame has been more of a gateway than a challenge.
Tish’s reflections emphasize the supportive and understanding environment she has fostered among her children, even in the high-pressure world of entertainment. As the mother of five, she continues to guide her family with grace and pride, celebrating both individual achievements and the unique bond that ties them together.
