Paris Hilton Shares Family Moments While Supporting Wildfire Victims
Paris Hilton is urging fans to remain “mindful” of those affected by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires while sharing moments of comfort with her family.
Taking to Instagram, the 43-year-old socialite posted a heartwarming video of her 2-year-old son, Phoenix, bundled in a blanket alongside two of their puppies.
“Some sleepy Pheeny and puppy footage for your feed,” Hilton wrote in the caption, referring to her son, whom she shares with husband Carter Reum.
She added, “Through everything that’s going on around us, sometimes we need an adorable reminder to take a mindful moment for ourselves.” Hilton concluded the post with her signature hashtag, #SlivingMom, a term she coined by combining “slaying” and “living.”
Hilton and Reum, who are also parents to 1-year-old daughter London, recently lost their Malibu home in the Los Angeles Palisades Fire.
In a heartfelt January 8 Instagram post, Hilton reflected on the loss, calling it the place where they “built so many precious memories.”
“It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London,” she wrote. Despite the hardship, Hilton expressed gratitude for her children.
“Even when we were evacuated in an airport hotel due to the wildfires, London and Phoenix knew how to make me and Carter smile. So grateful for them,” she shared on January 17 alongside a video of her kids wearing adorable bear jackets.
Hilton has taken steps to support those displaced by the fires. On January 10, she announced a significant donation through her nonprofit, 11:11 Media Impact, to assist affected families.
“I’m starting with a personal contribution of $100,000 and will be matching additional dollars raised up to $100,000 more,” Hilton wrote in an Instagram message. The funds will provide short-term housing, essential supplies for evacuation centers, and support for local animal shelters.
“While I’ve lost my Malibu home, my thoughts are with the countless families who have lost so much more—their homes, cherished keepsakes, the communities they loved, and their sense of stability,” Hilton added. “As a mom, I can’t imagine the pain and fear of not having a safe place for your babies.”
Hilton’s efforts highlight her commitment to aiding her community while finding solace in the love of her family during this challenging time.
