Olivia Munn is overjoyed by her newborn daughter Méi’s growth and milestones during her first month. The X-Men: Apocalypse star, 44, shared updates on Instagram in a heartfelt carousel post, giving fans a glimpse into life with her newest addition, whom she welcomed via gestational surrogate on September 14.
“The first month of Méi,” Munn captioned the post, which featured snapshots of her smiling while sitting on the couch with her daughter. The series of photos and videos included tender moments like Munn patting Méi’s belly, as well as adorable scenes of the little one yawning, cuddling with her mom and dad, comedian John Mulaney, and being doted on by her older brother Malcolm, 2, as per reports Us Weekly.
The post concluded with a sweet photo of Munn and Mulaney, 42, wearing matching bunny socks, capturing a lighthearted moment in their home. On her Instagram Stories, Munn shared a black-and-white video of herself soothing her daughter to sleep, writing, “John screen recorded this late night moment of patting Méi to sleep.”
Munn also reflected on the anxiety that comes with being a new mom, humorously adding, “I think I check to see if she’s breathing 23 out of 24 hours of the day.”
Munn and Mulaney announced the arrival of their second child on Instagram on September 22. “Méi June Mulaney came into the world on September 14, 2024, the year of the dragon,” Munn wrote in her caption, alongside a sweet video of baby Méi slowly tipping to the side while sitting on the couch.
