Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Invaded Queen’s Privacy With The Newborn’s Name, Reports

Duke and Duchess allegedly broke Queen Elizabeth II’s privacy when they named their baby girl Lilibet, as per a royal expert. Meghan and Harry announced the birth of their daughter on Friday, 4th June. They revealed the name of their little girl, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. However, one royal expert claimed that the choice of name was an invasion of Her Majesty’s privacy.

Royal biographer Angela Levin condemned Harry and Meghan’s decision to name their baby girl after the Queen. For her, it is the invasion of the Queen’s privacy. “I think it is a terrible invasion of the Queen’s privacy,” Levin was quoted by Express as saying.

The Levin described that the name was special as it was used by the Queen’s grandfather, King George IV when she was very small.  Also, the Queen herself could not articulate her name well and used to call herself Lilibet.

Prince Philip also picked up the same name and call Queen Elizabeth II, Lilibet. As per “Harry: A Biography of a Prince” author, it was the late Duke of Edinburgh’s way of calling his wife, the Queen, “darling.”

Levin added that Lilibet is a “loving, emotional intimate name.” So, she found it insulting that the royal couple chose when Prince Philip just passed away a few weeks ago.

Katie Nicholl, a Royal expert believed that many are hoping baby Lili would help the royal family end their drama. Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight,  “the royal family’s division has been going on for years. So, many are hoping that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby girl will be a peace offering in many ways. The expert added that hopefully, baby Lili could bring the divided royal family back together”.

Another royal source thought that Prince Harry and Meghan’s second child will not be enough to end their rift. As per royal expert Chris Ship, a lot of things happened between the Sussexes and the royals. There were “very big differences” that were created after they left their royal duties, so it would probably take more time for them to heal.

The royal family showed unification with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to welcome Archie’s siblings. Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, and Prince William and Kate Middleton congratulate Sussexes for the birth of baby Lilii.
