Actress Jessica Alba is turning the page—both figuratively and literally—following her split from husband Cash Warren. Nearly three weeks after filing for divorce, the Fantastic Four star revealed a new tattoo that symbolizes her fresh start.
In a Feb. 26 Instagram post captioned “The current chapter,” Alba shared a series of photos and videos offering a glimpse into her mindset during this period of transition. Among the snapshots was a close-up of her latest ink—a delicate cursive script tattooed on her right forearm by celebrity tattoo artist Winterstone.

The phrase reads, “Life is transformation is life,” which the artist later clarified as “Life is transformation, transformation is life.” The tattoo appears to serve as a reminder of Alba’s evolving journey following her separation.
Alba, who co-founded The Honest Company, also included images of her three children—Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7—alongside clips of her workout routine and inspirational quotes she is leaning on. One quote read, “You spend most of your life inside your head. Make it a nice place to be.” Another encouraged a more relaxed approach to life: “Life is to be lived—not controlled.”
Her new ink and reflective posts come amid her highly publicized split from Warren, which was made public in January. Despite the challenges of divorce, Alba has remained open about her commitment to personal growth and healing.

“I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years—both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” she shared in a now-deleted Instagram post on Jan. 16. “I’m proud of how we’ve grown in our marriage over the last 20 years, and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
While their marriage is ending, Alba emphasized that their family remains a top priority. “We are moving forward with love, kindness, and respect for each other and will forever be family,” she stated. “Our children remain our highest priority, and we request privacy at this time.”
With her new tattoo and forward-focused mindset, it’s clear that Alba is embracing this next phase of her life—one transformative step at a time.
