She may not be a movie star but Cheryl Cole still managed to make sure all eyes were on her at the Cannes Film Festival in France on Tuesday.
The former Girls Aloud singer – who was sensationally sacked from X Factor USA in its first season – attended the De Grisogono Fatale In Cannes party at Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc where she grabbed attention in a revealing black dress. The strapless fitted gown, featuring a feathered train which flowed around her ankles, was cut dangerously low in front to reveal a great deal of her cleavage.
While Cheryl Cole tried to distract attention with a huge necklace, she didn’t completely succeed. Cole pulled her hair back off her face and wore bright red lipstick which contrasted sharply with her entirely black ensemble. Meanwhile, she may not be a movie star yet but that doesn’t mean Cheryl Colel isn’t considering a change of career.
The starlet – who had a small role in Cameron Diaz’s What To Expect When You’re Expecting – has reportedly been meeting with studio bosses while in Cannes. A source told The Sun newspaper: ‘Cheryl Cole is meeting with studio bosses in Cannes. The festival is the perfect place to meet properly and talk about some of the offers on the table.
She’s considering a career on the big screen, of course, but only if the part is right. She wouldn’t go into anything lightly and would make sure she was fully trained and prepped for the job.’The problem is now that she has another record ready for release and is back on The X Factor as a judge, any film work would have to be after that.’ -dailymail
