Céline Dion Surprises Fans with Her Playful Side in Must-See New Posts

In a charming and humorous video, Céline Dion showed just how much persistence it takes to get Siri to understand her – especially when it involves her music in French. The Grammy-winning singer was trying to get the voice assistant to play her 2024 rendition of Edith Piaf’s classic Hymne à l’amour, but Siri had other ideas.

In the clip, Dion asks Siri, “Hey Siri, play Hymne à l’amour by Céline Dion?” But instead of playing the requested song, Siri responded with, “I cannot find that track by Céline Dion, but here is My Heart Will Go On,” launching into her iconic Titanic hit. Dion laughed in frustration, exclaiming, “No! Hello. No, no, no.”

Determined, she tried again, repeating her request politely: “Hey Siri, can you play Hymne à l’amour by Céline Dion please?” Yet once again, Siri answered with, “I cannot find that track by Céline Dion, but here is My Heart Will Go On.”

With a laugh and a sigh, Dion almost gave up. But instead, she gave it one last shot – this time with a strong French accent: “Hymne à l’amour by Céline Dion.” This time, Siri understood and responded, “Okay, here is Hymne à l’amour by Céline Dion.” Dion smiled and gave a triumphant thumbs-up as her version of the classic song finally started to play.

The lighthearted clip not only delighted her fans but also highlighted the amusing quirks of voice recognition technology, especially when it comes to bilingual artists like Dion. Her persistence and humor made for an entertaining moment, as she reminded everyone that sometimes, all it takes is a little French flair.
