Czech footballer Petr Čech was born in Plzeň, Czechoslovakia on May 20, 1982. He plays for Chelsea and Czech Republic as a goalkeeper.
Petr Čech holds a Czech professional league record for not enduring a goal in 855 competitive minutes and also a club record at his former team Sparta Prague. He received award of Best Goalkeeper in the 2004-2005, 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 seasons of the UEFA Champions League.
