The ‘Titanic’ star Kate Winslet is celebrating her 36th birthday today. She was born on 5 October 1975 in Reading, Berkshire, England.

English actress Kate Elizabeth Winslet has appeared in many popular films which include Titanic, Quills, Iris, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Reader and may others. She won Academy Award for Best Actress for her acting in film The Reader and also won awards from British Academy of Film and Television Arts, Hollywood Foreign Press Association and Screen Actors Guild.

Kate Winslet made her film debut with ‘Heavenly Creatures’ in 1994.
