‘We Ain’t Beefin’: Cardi B confirms no feud as she celebrates Offset’s birthday
The ongoing drama between Cardi B and her estranged husband Offset appears to be settling down as the pair focus on co-parenting their children.
Following her recent decision to file for divorce for the second time, the WAP rapper revealed that she and the Migos member have been maintaining peace and navigating a healthier dynamic.
“We’ve been peaceful for over a week, so we like the energy,” Cardi shared during a live X Spaces session on December 14, as recorded by The Jasmine Brand and reported by People.
She further explained, “We ain’t beefin’. We ain’t really speaking. So I think we’re getting to a point that is, we’re really healthy co-parenting.”
The couple share three children: a 6-year-old daughter, Kulture; a 3-year-old son, Wave; and a baby girl born in September. Cardi emphasized that this newfound peace is a welcome change after months of turbulence.
“We’ve been really happy. I feel like this week has been the less drama week,” she noted. “’Cause for the past three months, it’s been drama, it’s been arguing, it’s been craziness. But this week, it’s been like, eight days that there’s no drama, there’s no b*******. It’s getting to the point where everybody’s moving on very healthy.”
Cardi and Offset’s relationship has been a rollercoaster since they tied the knot in 2017. The I Like It rapper first announced their separation in 2018, and by 2020, she filed for divorce before later calling it off.
This year, the pair’s rocky dynamic resurfaced. In July, Cardi announced their split once again and filed for divorce just weeks before the arrival of their third child.
While the couple’s history has been marked by ups and downs, Cardi’s latest remarks suggest that both are committed to prioritizing their children’s well-being above all else. Fans welcomed the news, praising the two for working toward a peaceful co-parenting arrangement amid their personal challenges.
As Cardi put it, the past week of calm marks a significant shift in what has otherwise been a chaotic period. “We’re moving on very healthy,” she reiterated, offering hope for a drama-free future for the family.
