Brad Pitt all set for ‘Heart of the Beast’ shoot after divorce settlement

Brad Pitt has arrived in New Zealand to begin filming his upcoming blockbuster movie, Heart of the Beast. Directed by David Ayer, the film follows a former U.S. Navy SEAL who becomes stranded in the North American wilderness with his “retired combat dog.”

According to a report by DailyMail, New Zealand’s South Island, including Queenstown, will serve as a stand-in for Alaska, where the story is set. For now, Pitt is in Auckland attending pre-production meetings ahead of the film’s March shoot, which is expected to last seven weeks.

Notably, Pitt’s successful production company, Plan B, is producing the film for Paramount Pictures. Beyond Heart of the Beast, Pitt is also starring in an upcoming Formula 1 movie directed by Joseph Kosinski, set for release in June.

This news comes as Pitt moves forward from a lengthy custody battle and ongoing legal disputes with his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie. After Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, the former couple was declared legally single in 2019, though they have since faced continued legal battles over custody and ownership of the French estate and winery, Château Miraval.

Meanwhile, Jolie’s legal team told DailyMail that their client is “relieved this one part is over,” referring to recent developments in the case.
