“Kamala Harris’ Campaign a ‘Coup'”: Trump Unleashes Conspiracy Theories on Truth Social
Former President Donald Trump spent his Tuesday afternoon railing against Democrats — including the president, the vice president, congressional leaders, and even a former president. In a fiery screed, Trump labeled Kamala Harris’ campaign a “coup” and accused Joe Biden of secretly wanting the nomination back. Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, ahead of Harris’ rally to unleash his conspiracy theory.
“What are the chances that Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST President in the history of the U.S., whose Presidency was Unconstitutionally STOLEN from him by Kamabla, Barrack HUSSEIN Obama, Crazy Nancy Pelosi, Shifty Adam Schiff, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, and others on the Lunatic Left, CRASHES the Democrat National Convention and tries to take back the Nomination, beginning with challenging me to another DEBATE,” Trump posted.
He went on to claim that Biden “feels that he made a historically tragic mistake by handing over the U.S. Presidency, a COUP, to the people in the World he most hates, and he wants it back, NOW!!!” Trump’s online tirades are nothing new, but this latest outburst led some on social media to suggest that Harris’ selection of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate may have “broken him.”
“Donald Trump is having a full-on mental breakdown! President Biden, Kamala Harris, and Tim Walz have BROKEN him,” jabbed @mmpadellan on the social media site X. “Trump is ranting on Truth Social about the presidency being ‘STOLEN’ from Joe Biden by ‘Kamabla’ and ‘Barrack HUSSEIN Obama’ and suggests that Biden is going to step back in and challenge him to another debate,” remarked Republican Voters Against Trump. “This is pretty unhinged even for Trump.”
“When I just saw this utterly deranged, completely delusional rant posted by someone on here, I thought for a brief moment it must be fake because even Trump is not THIS unhinged and insane,” quipped @AntiToxicPeople. “I was wrong, it’s quite real.”
As the political climate heats up, Trump’s conspiracy-laden posts highlight the intense polarization and the increasingly hostile rhetoric defining this election cycle. Harris’ rally, alongside her newly announced running mate Walz, seemed to trigger this latest outburst from Trump, emphasizing the high stakes and fierce competition in the lead-up to November’s election.
