34-Year-Old Missing Woman Found Dead in Home, Partially Consumed by Beloved Pet Pugs

A tragic discovery was made in Târgu Jiu, northwest of Bucharest, Romania, when 34-year-old Adriana Neagoe, also known as Anda Sasha, was found lifeless in her home, partially consumed by her pet pugs.
The heartbreaking incident unfolded after Anda’s family grew concerned when they hadn’t heard from her in five days. A family member contacted the police, reporting that she was unresponsive to calls and messages and had not answered her door.
Authorities were forced to break into her flat with the assistance of firefighters and the concerned family member. Inside, they found Anda’s lifeless body on the floor, with her two pugs nearby. Officers observed that the dogs had begun to eat parts of her remains.
An ambulance crew arrived at the scene and confirmed Anda’s death. They found no signs of violence, but cadaveric lividity, or livor mortis, was present on her body. This natural post-mortem occurrence causes blood to pool in the lower parts of the body, resulting in a discoloration ranging from pink to dark purple, reports the Daily Record.
Anda’s body was taken to the Gorj Forensic Medicine Service for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Her two pugs were collected by workers from the Gorj County Council under a shelter order issued by the local police.
The police have launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding her death. Anda’s sister, Maria Alexandra, shared a touching tribute on Facebook, writing: “Another angel has gone to heaven. My beautiful sister Anda Sasha is no longer among us.”
The tragic news shocked the local community, with friends and residents offering their condolences. One mourner, Daniel, expressed disbelief, writing: “Condolences, I can’t believe it. I am so sorry.” Another, Alysa, added: “What is this life? Today you are, and tomorrow you are not. What a pity for her youth. May God rest her soul in peace.”
Another close friend, Mara, shared her sorrow: “I am devastated! May God protect her and give you the strength to overcome. Please let me know if I can help with anything. Condolences.”
Anda had frequently shared photos of herself with her pugs on social media, highlighting her love for them. Her untimely passing leaves her loved ones and community in deep mourning.
