Drake Reaches Out to Jennifer Lopez Amid Divorce from Ben Affleck: “He’s Ready and Willing”

As Jennifer Lopez navigates her divorce from Ben Affleck, it appears she’s receiving support—and perhaps a bit more—from rapper Drake. According to a source who spoke with In Touch Weekly, Drake has been in regular contact with Lopez since the news of her split broke.
The insider revealed, “As soon as JLo filed the papers, Drake reached out. He was very sweet and told her what a fool Ben is for letting her get away.” Drake didn’t stop at offering sympathy, though. “He quickly let her know he’s ready and willing to step in and satisfy her,” the source added.
Lopez and Drake were romantically linked back in 2016 when they shared playful photos on Instagram and were spotted kissing at a party. Their chemistry was evident, and according to the insider, their connection has resurfaced during this difficult time for Lopez. “They have their own history and a lot of chemistry, so it really did a lot to make her smile,” said the source.
The renewed attention from Drake has reportedly been a boost for Lopez as she deals with the emotional fallout of her split from Affleck. “Getting that kind of attention when she was feeling so low was exactly what she needed. Now they’re texting every day and things are getting hot,” the source revealed.
However, Lopez is keeping her guard up. The source explained that while the singer enjoys the attention, she’s “well aware” of Drake’s reputation as a player. “Jennifer may not be putting him in the relationship category,” they said, but added that Drake “definitely meets her needs for a hook-up.”
Drake, known for his charm, has apparently been quite the gentleman. “He’s very intelligent and romantic, and she can count on him being discreet because he’s always kept her secrets in the past,” the insider shared. The connection between the two seems to be mostly virtual for now. “It’s still in the sexting stage, but she loves hearing from him and sharing intimate selfies,” the source explained. “He’s very quick to compliment her, and he lays it on thick.”
The insider also suggested that Drake is more than ready to take things further if Lopez decides. “Drake is prepared to drop everything and meet her wherever she wants,” they said, adding that the next step depends on Lopez. “It’s just a matter of her being in the right head space.”
