Donald Trump expressed his discontent with Oprah Winfrey over the weekend, calling her “not the woman he once knew” after watching her interview with Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, late Saturday night to voice his opinion.

The interview, which aired last week, saw the influential Winfrey asking Harris a series of questions that sparked some notable responses, including Harris’s admission that she would defend herself by shooting an intruder if necessary. This comment, among others, seemingly irked Trump, who decided to share his thoughts publicly, as per The Guardian.

On Truth Social, Trump reminisced about his past connection with Winfrey, stating, “A long time ago, Oprah Winfrey asked me to do her last Network Television Show. The final week of her show was a big deal, and it was my honor, with my family, to do it.”

However, Trump’s tone shifted as he expressed disappointment in the woman he once knew, saying, “When I watched her interview yesterday with a woman who is destroying, through her complete and total incompetence, America, I couldn’t help but think this isn’t the real Oprah.”

Trump went on to criticize Harris, accusing her of failing to address key issues. “Kamala looked really foolish, couldn’t answer the simplest of questions on Inflation, the Cost of Goods, or our very porous and dangerous Border,” he continued, implying that the Vice President is unfit for leadership.

He further suggested that Winfrey was visibly uncomfortable during the interview, writing, “Oprah just wanted to crawl under a table!” Trump’s criticism of Harris didn’t stop there, as he concluded his post by stating, “Comrade Kamala Harris is mentally unfit to be President. She knows it, and so does everyone else!”

This sharp rebuke from Trump underscores his ongoing disdain for both the current administration and prominent media figures who support it. Winfrey and Harris have yet to respond to Trump’s remarks.
